Building sand sculptures at the beach/04.04.17

We went to the beach in the afternoon on Tuesday.
There we got paired in groups in which German and Spanish students were mixed together. We got the order to build octopuses made of sand.
My group started to get water from the ocean to tighten the sand we would use to build the octopus. We build a big sandheap as a basis for the following details.
Afterwards we divided our group into smaller groups and gave different tasks away. I was suppossed to form the tentacles with other group members. Another group started to smoothen the surface of the sandheap and another one tried to give the octopus some characteristics by creating a beautiful face.
It took us some time to create the perfect octopus. After some hours all the groups had to finish their work so we would able to admire the sand sculptures we created.
The press visited us at the beach and five of us got interviewed about our exchange in Spain with Erasmus+ and what we enjoyed the most the past days.
All in all it was a really beautiful day at the beach, I think I can say that we all enjoyed this day and had a lot of fun. The group project was really helpful to get to know each other a bit better and it showed that it can be a bit challenging with communication problems but in a group we will always find a solution.

The Rollercoaster The Rollercoaster is a restaurant in the south of Hamburg, southern of the Elbe. The really good and exquisite food comes to your table by rail, after you ordered by tablet. Sometimes even with a sparkler. We went there with 10 persons. Exept from another branch in Dresden, this restaurant is unique. The "Schokofondue" On sunday afternoon, we went to Pauline's to eat the so-called "Schokofontäne". It's a fondue of melted chocolate in form of a fountain, where you dip fruit in. It exploded twice. That was the second time. The first time, we took the tablecloth away, expecting it not to happen again, but... The "Tropenaquarium" Monday, we were at the "Hagenbeck's Tropenaquarium". It's part of the zoo here in Hamburg.  That's Steve. He's a manta ray.

A sunny day in Hamburg Downtown :-D

Hi! We´re Alexandra, Annika, Julia and Natalia. On monday we spent a lovely day in the City Center of Hamburg. First we all went to the International Maritime Museum of Hamburg which was really interesting! We learned a lot of facts about the history of the harbour. After that we walked to the Underground Station "Überseequartier" which is near the museum in the Hafencity. We had lunch at a burger Restaurant named "Jim Block" next to the Gänsemarkt. Everyone ate a huge burger and it was sooo delicious. In the afternoon we were relaxing next to the river Alster and had a Virgin Colada. Afterwords we took a lot of nice pictures in front of the council in the evening light. We went by train to "St.Pauli" and had a short view at the Dom which is an amusemant park in Hamburg. The week from the 17th to the 24th of March (The German students come to Spain) by Rachel

I have to say it was tough at first because I am not used to sleep with someone near me, except from my sister or some friend but always for less than a week. It was a very exhausting week, we did a lot of things and we had so much fun, even when the situation was a little bit awkward because we didn't knew each other very well, even between us (the galician students). On the first day I had to take Maike to a chemistry lesson in the afternoon but we skipped the second one and we went with other exchange students to Castrelos and later Maike came training with me. On the second day we went to the Cíes Islands and we even got into the water, we ended very tired of walking. On the third day some of us met to go to the shops street at the city centre and to the old part of the city, then Maike and I went training.
