Textfeld: HAMBURG HAFEN.
These photos are from the day we did a tour of Hamburg by groups. It was a fun day but we ended up very tired. I choose these photos to represent the student role, since that is what taught me the most culturally and how to take me practically alone in a foreign city.
The truth is that you learn a lot with this type of trip and, although at the beginning it is scary to arrive and not know anything, then you do not want to return. Without a doubt an experience that I will never forget and recommend to all those who want to learn.
We had a great time knowing all the corners of the city and in my opinion it is a beautiful and very interesting city, I would go back

Talking on a personal level, it was a trip that made me discover many things, although it can be very little time to do them. At first I arrived with a little fear for not knowing what to do, but the days passed and each time I had less desire to return. What I had was a dream since we were doing activities all day. I loved meeting new people and both the teachers and the German children and families were lovely. I want to see you again someday. I leave you some pictures of a few days that we were all together in the house of a German.

The Rollercoaster The Rollercoaster is a restaurant in the south of Hamburg, southern of the Elbe. The really good and exquisite food comes to your table by rail, after you ordered by tablet. Sometimes even with a sparkler. We went there with 10 persons. Exept from another branch in Dresden, this restaurant is unique. The "Schokofondue" On sunday afternoon, we went to Pauline's to eat the so-called "Schokofontäne". It's a fondue of melted chocolate in form of a fountain, where you dip fruit in. It exploded twice. That was the second time. The first time, we took the tablecloth away, expecting it not to happen again, but... The "Tropenaquarium" Monday, we were at the "Hagenbeck's Tropenaquarium". It's part of the zoo here in Hamburg.  That's Steve. He's a manta ray.

First impressions on German food

Currywurst (sausage with curry) We were in Hamburg in "The Europapassage". "The Europapassage" is a big mall where many shops are. Especially there is a floor called "Food Sky", where a lot of restaurants are located. The German students showed us the "Curry Wurst". The "Curry Wurst" is traditional food from Hamburg and tastes extremely good. Before we ate it, we thought it would not fit with each other. After trying it, it was surprisingly tasteful. Schokostreusel (chocolate sprinkles) Even saying to put chocolate sprinkles on a bun sounds weird, trying it, sounds even worse. The Spanish exchange students refused to eat it. Then there was a victim called Leana. She was courageous enough to try it. Her face said everything! It was delicious. Schwarzbrot (black bread) The healthy option for normal bread is black bread. The Germans call it regular bread. It has a lot of proteins and a sticky texture. It tastes how it sounds: borin...

The week from the 17th to the 24th of March (The German students come to Spain) by Rachel

I have to say it was tough at first because I am not used to sleep with someone near me, except from my sister or some friend but always for less than a week. It was a very exhausting week, we did a lot of things and we had so much fun, even when the situation was a little bit awkward because we didn't knew each other very well, even between us (the galician students). On the first day I had to take Maike to a chemistry lesson in the afternoon but we skipped the second one and we went with other exchange students to Castrelos and later Maike came training with me. On the second day we went to the Cíes Islands and we even got into the water, we ended very tired of walking. On the third day some of us met to go to the shops street at the city centre and to the old part of the city, then Maike and I went training.
