Sightseeing Bus Tour in Vigo (05. 04.)


On Wednesday we, the Germans, went on a city tour with the bus to visit several interesting locations. We even got an audio guide that explained the history behind several sights while we saw them.
A few times the bus stopped and we could go out and explore a famous place.
First we visited Monte O Castro again, this time we didn´t go to the ruins but rather enjoyed the sight from the top.

Building sand sculptures at the beach/04.04.17

Vigo- Erasmus- Exchange 04.04.17 We went to the beach in the afternoon on Tuesday. There we got paired in groups in which German and Spanish students were mixed together. We got the order to build octopuses made of sand. My group started to get water from the ocean to tighten the sand we would use to build the octopus. We build a big sandheap as a basis for the following details. Afterwards we divided our group into smaller groups and gave different tasks away. I was suppossed to form the tentacles with other group members. Another group started to smoothen the surface of the sandheap and another one tried to give the octopus some characteristics by creating a beautiful face. It took us some time to create the perfect octopus. After some hours all the groups had to finish their work so we would able to admire the sand sculptures we created. The week from the 17th to the 24th of March (The German students come to Spain) by Rachel

I have to say it was tough at first because I am not used to sleep with someone near me, except from my sister or some friend but always for less than a week. It was a very exhausting week, we did a lot of things and we had so much fun, even when the situation was a little bit awkward because we didn't knew each other very well, even between us (the galician students). On the first day I had to take Maike to a chemistry lesson in the afternoon but we skipped the second one and we went with other exchange students to Castrelos and later Maike came training with me. On the second day we went to the Cíes Islands and we even got into the water, we ended very tired of walking. On the third day some of us met to go to the shops street at the city centre and to the old part of the city, then Maike and I went training.
